Section 01
Overview

Hi — I'm Isa. I want to be upfront with you about something important: your personal information matters, and I take it seriously.

This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect when you visit this website or fill out my Coverage Check form, how I use it, and what rights you have over it. I've written it in plain language because you deserve to actually understand what you're agreeing to — not just scroll past a wall of legal text.

This policy is governed by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, enforced by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

By using this website or submitting any form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you have any questions, you can always reach me directly — my contact details are at the bottom of this page.

Section 02
Who We Are

The personal information controller for this website is:

Data Controller Information
  • Name: Ma. Isabel Micar Dumandan (Isa Dumandan)
  • Capacity: Licensed Insurance Advisor · Certified Wealth & Estate Planner — FWD Life Insurance Philippines, Paramount Life & General Insurance (formerly Pacific Cross Philippines), AXA Philippines
  • Website: [your-website-url-here]
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Facebook: facebook.com/isadumandan
  • Regulator: Insurance Commission of the Philippines

As a licensed advisor, I also operate under the data privacy policies of FWD Life Insurance Corporation (Philippines), Paramount Life & General Insurance Corporation, and AXA Philippines, depending on which insurer is relevant to your inquiry. Where applicable, the respective insurer may be a co-controller of your data in relation to insurance-related processing activities.

Section 03
What Information We Collect

I only collect information that's genuinely needed to help you find the right insurance coverage. Here's exactly what that includes:

Information you give me directly
  • Identity information: Your nickname, full name (if provided), and date of birth
  • Contact information: Email address and mobile number
  • Coverage assessment data: Your answers to the Coverage Check form — including your age range, employment situation, dependents, existing coverage, financial concerns, and budget range
  • Communication records: Messages you send me via Facebook, email, or any other channel
  • Consent records: Your marketing and promotional consent preferences
Information collected automatically
  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, and general browsing behavior on this site
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen size (used only for improving page display)
  • Approximate location: Country or region level only, derived from your IP address

What I don't collect: I do not collect your full income, government ID numbers, credit card details, or other sensitive financial data through this website. That level of information is only collected — with your explicit consent — during the formal insurance application process through the relevant insurer's official channels.

Section 04
How We Use Your Information

I use your information to do one thing well: help you find the right insurance coverage for your life. Here's specifically how:

  • Prepare your Coverage Snapshot — Your form answers are used to assess your insurance needs and generate a personalized summary sent to your email
  • Schedule your Discovery Call — Your contact details are used to reach out and arrange a free 1-on-1 consultation
  • Provide personalized recommendations — Your situation and priorities inform which insurance products I suggest during our call, from FWD Life, Paramount, or AXA Philippines
  • Send financial wellness content — If you opted in, I'll send you relevant insurance tips and updates via email or SMS
  • Send product information — If you opted in to promotional communications, I may send you information about products and offers from FWD Life, Paramount, or AXA Philippines
  • Improve this website — Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps me make the site more useful and easier to navigate
  • Comply with legal obligations — Insurance regulations and data privacy laws may require me to retain certain records

Your information is used only for the purposes stated above. I will not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects without your knowledge and consent.

Section 06
Who We Share Your Information With

I do not sell your personal data. Ever. I only share your information in the following limited and necessary situations:

  • FWD Life Insurance Corporation, Paramount Life & General Insurance Corporation, and/or AXA Philippines: As my affiliated insurers, the relevant company may receive your data when you proceed with an insurance application or consultation. Each insurer maintains its own privacy policy and data protection measures.
  • Service providers: Third-party tools that help operate this website and communicate with you — including GoHighLevel (CRM and form platform) and Google (analytics). These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Legal authorities: When required by law, regulation, court order, or lawful request from the National Privacy Commission or other government bodies in the Philippines.
  • Protection of rights: If disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of any person.

No personal data is transferred to entities outside the Philippines without appropriate safeguards consistent with RA 10173 and NPC guidelines on cross-border data transfers.

Section 07
How Long We Keep Your Data

I keep your personal information only for as long as it's needed for the purposes it was collected — or as required by Philippine law.

Retention Periods
  • Coverage Check form responses: Retained for up to 2 years from date of submission, or until you request deletion
  • Active client records: Retained for the duration of any insurance policy plus 5 years after policy termination, in line with Insurance Commission requirements
  • Marketing consent records: Retained until you withdraw consent, plus a reasonable period thereafter for compliance documentation
  • Communication records: Retained for up to 3 years from last interaction
  • Website usage data: Anonymized after 12 months

When data is no longer needed and no legal obligation requires retention, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Section 08
Your Rights Under RA 10173

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 gives you real rights over your personal information. Here's what you're entitled to — and how to exercise each one:

You can request your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Right to Withdraw Consent

You can withdraw your marketing or promotional consent at any time — without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Section 09
Cookies & Tracking

This website may use cookies and similar technologies to help it function properly and to understand how visitors use it. Here's what that means in plain terms:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website and form to work. You can't opt out of these without breaking the site.
  • Analytics cookies: Help me understand which parts of the page are most useful. All data is aggregated and anonymized — I can't identify you from this.
  • CRM cookies (GoHighLevel): Used to track form submissions and link your responses to your contact record in my CRM system.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies won't prevent you from using the site or submitting the form.

Section 10
How We Protect Your Data

I take reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. These include:

  • Using HTTPS encryption on all pages of this website
  • Storing form data on GoHighLevel's secure, access-controlled platform
  • Limiting access to your data to only those who need it to serve you
  • Not storing unnecessary sensitive data on this site

Important: No method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While I do my best to protect your information, I cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of any security issue, please contact me immediately at [email protected].

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, I will notify you and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of it — as required by NPC Circular 16-03.

Section 11
Minors

This website and the Coverage Check form are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

I do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has submitted their information through this site, please contact me immediately at [email protected] so I can delete the data promptly.

Section 12
Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when regulations change or when I add new features to this site. When I do, I'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

If the changes are significant, I'll make a reasonable effort to notify you — by email if you've shared one with me, or by posting a notice on this site. Continued use of this website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

I encourage you to check back periodically. This policy will always be available at this URL.

Section 13
